Treatment Statistics for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at OHS

Between 6/15/2004 and 12/31/2007 many patients with a variety of conditions were treated at Oriental Health Solutions. Practitioners @ OHS treated all diseases listed with the World Health Organization (WHO). Many other conditions were treated beyond this list.

On average acute conditions required 1–5 treatments whereas chronic conditions required 12.4 treatments. Other modalities that were used in addition to acupuncture were as follows: electro-acupuncture, ear acupuncture, moxibustion, microcurrent-stimulation, and cupping.

Practitioners @ OHS formulated 14,246 Chinese herbal recipes and 9,875 dietary consults during the above time frame. The table to the below shows the top 80% most commonly-seen diagnoses at OHS.
